Mira Dining is proud to present the “2024 Gourmet Month” where six restaurants once again join hands to offer an extraordinary culinary celebration. We cordially invite everyone to embark on a MIRAlicious global gourmet journey, experiencing delightful moments with MIRAlicious!

Over the years, the Mira Dining has brought together six award-winning top-tier restaurants, each renowned for its signature dishes and exceptional cuisine. These restaurants, with their numerous accolades, have intricately designed a variety of special menus. The six restaurants include the the genuine Cantonese dining Cuisine Cuisine ifc and Cuisine Cuisine the Mira,  Michelin-recommended contemporary Cantonese restaurant Tsui Hang Village, the innovative Chinese restaurant Chinesology, the authentic Thai restaurant Mue Mue, and the flavorful vegetarian restaurant JAJA. The talented chefs showcase their culinary skills with passion, offering warm hospitality and a stylish dining environment to create an unparalleled dining experience for all guests.

Cuisine Cuisine ifc —Matsutake Mushroom Promotion

Renowned master chef Lee Yulin and Chef Qiu Jian’en have meticulously designed authentic Cantonese cuisine, promising a dining experience like no other at Cuisine Cuisine in Central. Each dish is crafted using carefully selected fresh seasonal ingredients and traditional Chinese cooking techniques from the 36 culinary arts. The award-winning Cuisine Cuisine, located in the International Finance Centre Mall in the heart of Central’s business district, offers an elegant and comfortable dining environment with stunning views of Victoria Harbour, ensuring guests a truly unforgettable culinary experience.

During the “Gourmet Month”, the restaurant will feature a Matsutake Mushroom Delicacies series, skillfully incorporating this rare ingredient into a variety of Cantonese delicacies, presenting a taste of luxury and refinement.

The highlighted dishes include:

Sautéed Lobster with Matsutake Mushroom: The rich and sweet lobster meat paired with the tender Matsutake mushrooms create a highly diverse texture; each bite is a delightful experience.

Pan-fried Beef Filet and Matsutake Mushroom with Butter: The aroma of Matsutake mushrooms perfectly complements the rich buttery flavor of the beef, creating a harmonious blend of flavors.

Braised Sea Cucumber with Yellow Fungus, Matsutake Mushroom and Morel Mushroom: The intricate combination of Matsutake mushrooms and sea cucumber is a symbol of timeless elegance.Moreover, each dish is meticulously crafted, leaving one craving for more.

Tsui Hang Village—The 50th Anniversary Feast

Tsui Hang Village has always been dedicated to serving authentic and classic Cantonese cuisine, adhering to the traditional Cantonese principle of “eat what is in season.” Meticulously preparing dishes with the flavors of their hometown, Tsui Hang Village offers a wide range of Cantonese and Hong Kong-style dishes, renowned citywide for their signature roasted meats and handcrafted dim sum. Each dish is carefully crafted to perfection in terms of color, aroma, and taste, showcasing the chefs’ exquisite culinary skills. As we celebrate our milestone of fifty years, Tsui Hang Village continues to uphold the classic Cantonese culinary traditions. Our head chef will reinterpret classic delicacies with nostalgic techniques, inviting guests to reminisce about the flavors and memories of Tsui Hang Village throughout the years.

50th Anniversary 4 Hands Artisanal Inheritance Dinner

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary, Tsui Hang Village’s veteran Cantonese cuisine master Chef Mo and the talented rising star Chef Wu will join hands to present a special Four-Hands Cantonese Dinner. These two masters, one passing on the torch to the other, will reinterpret classic delicacies with nostalgic techniques, featuring dishes such as Shunde Fish Maw Soup, Deep-fried Polls with Sea cucumber, Prawns, Chicken, and Braised Turnip, Carrot, Bamboo Fungus, Jinhua Ham, and Vegetarian Goose. In their pursuit of presenting Cantonese classics, both chefs emphasize not only the culinary craftsmanship of each dish but also the preservation of traditional flavors.

The Four-Hands Dinner will commence on August 26th (Central), September 2nd (Tsim Sha Tsui), and September 5th (Causeway Bay) at the three Tsui Hang Village branches. We welcome all diners and friends to come and witness the exquisite Cantonese culinary artistry, experiencing the craftsmanship and flavors of Cantonese cuisine firsthand.

The 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Classic Dim Sum

During the months of August to September, Tsui Hang Village will be introducing a variety of nostalgic dim sum dishes:

**Five Happiness Combination Platter**: Featuring dishes like XO Sauce Pan-Fried Stuffed Eggplant, Crab Roe Siu Mai, Scallop Three-Star Dumpling, Sesame Pan-Fried Rice Cakes, and Conpoy and Egg White Crystal Dumpling.

**Steamed Shrimps Dumplings**: Shaped like traditional Chinese auspicious symbols representing wealth and happiness, these dumplings perfectly blend the form and essence of fresh shrimp.

**Steamed Whole Crab Claw Crystal Dumplings**: Originating from the mid-19th to 20th century in the Guangdong region, these dumplings are meticulously crafted using succulent meat from whole freshly caught large crab claws, wrapped in a thin crystal dumpling skin to maintain the original appearance of the claw meat, resulting in a translucent, tender, and delicious delight.

**Old style Steamed Chicken Buns**: A quintessential Cantonese snack with juicy and flavorful chicken filling, reflecting the culinary culture of the working class in Guangdong.

**Crispy Steamed Rice Flour Rolls Stuffed with Prawn and Scallop**: With a crispy exterior enveloping a sweet and fresh seafood filling.

**Deep-Fried Harvest Turnip Flaky Pastry**: Featuring a crispy outer layer and a soft, sweet, and glutinous interior.

**Turnip shreds and Shrimp rolls with Chicken Broth**: Originating from the mid-20th century in Guangdong, this dish showcases a blend of common elements in Cantonese cuisine such as chicken, shrimp, and turnip, highlighting the essence of quality ingredients and balanced flavors.

**Steamed Shrimps and Spinach Dumplings**: Visually stunning dumplings.

The Classic Flavors of the 50th Anniversary

Tsui Hang Village, at the beginning of its 50th anniversary, has selected four exquisite nostalgic dishes from its classic and award-winning dishes over the years. These dishes are meticulously handcrafted, visually stunning, and truly showcase the culinary skills of the chefs. Here are the selected dishes:

**Deep-fried Polls with Sea cucumber, Prawns, Chicken (1986 | Selected Meat Category “Platinum Award” at Hong Kong Food Expo ’86)** 

This dish features a unique aroma of pork netting, which is the lacy fat within pork belly. It wraps diced chicken, prawns, ham, sea cucumber, white mushrooms, water chestnut meat, and winter melon among other rich fillings. The seafood roll, shaped like a chicken leg, is then deep-fried to a golden hue. Dip it in the secret five-spice sauce for a burst of flavors.

 **Steamed Grouper with Snow Swallow and Egg White (2003 | “Highest Honor Gold Award” in the Fresh Fish category at the Foodie Awards)** 

Fresh grouper is steamed to perfection, and the fish meat is combined with snow ear fungus and egg white, stir-fried in oil for a smooth and refreshing taste. Finally, it is drizzled with an eight-hour simmered broth made from old chicken and ham for an exquisite flavor experience.

**Simmered Goose with Plum and Rock Sugar (2003 | “Silver Award” in the Duck/Goose category at the Foodie Awards)** 

Tender and smooth black goose is fried to a crisp, then cooked with a mixture of ice sugar and plum sauce, complemented by bits of taro, offering a delightful balance of sweet and sour flavors.

**Braised Turnip, Carrot, Bamboo Fungus, Jinhua Ham and Vegetarian Goose (2003 | “Silver Award” in the Vegetable category at the Foodie Awards)** 

This dish, “Golden and Jade Full Hall,” symbolizes prosperity and abundance, showcasing the essence of Cantonese cuisine with its rich ingredients and refined cooking techniques. It’s a classic Cantonese dish that blends auspicious meanings with delicious and nutritious elements.

Chinesology—Gourmet Month Feast

Inspired by the culinary culture of the Tang Dynasty, Chinesology aspires to explore the depth and diversity of Chinese cuisine through a contemporary and modern lens. Located in the International Finance Center Mall in Central, the restaurant is led by the locally born and raised culinary director, Chef Zhou Shitao. Since embarking on his culinary journey, Chef Zhou has held a special affection for the local culture and has always dreamt of showcasing the unique flavors and culinary craftsmanship of this city on the international stage.

To celebrate the “Gourmet Month,” Chef Zhou has specially curated the “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall Feast,” following the essence of the twenty-four solar terms and selecting seasonal ingredients to offer a unique Chinese dining experience. This feast allows you to savor the essence of the season and experience the layers of flavors with your taste buds.

The appetizers kick off with the “Chilled Jumbo Scallop With Chili Sauce,” where the fusion of sour and spicy creates a fragrant and delightful dish. Next, the “Fried Tiger Prawn With Salty Egg Yolk” features succulent prawns enveloped in a rich and savory salted egg yolk sauce, providing a crispy golden texture. The “Imperial Soup With Winter Melon, Assorted Mushrooms And Conpoy” is meticulously crafted with a variety of precious seafood and Yunnan mushrooms, resulting in a rich and flavorful broth.

Mue Mue—Thai Splendor Summer Indulgence

Mue Mue has reinterpreted classic Thai cuisine with exquisite Chinese cooking techniques, using seasonal ingredients and incorporating a variety of Chinese and Thai spices to create a unique and contemporary Thai dining experience. During the Gourmet Month, Mue Mue presents the exclusive menu “Thai Splendor Summer Indulgence,” allowing you to savor the essence of Thai cuisine in one delightful feast.

The refreshing Mango Salad with Crabmeat infuses a burst of fresh vitality to your taste buds, while the creatively crafted Caviar with Beetroot Deep Fried Tofu offers a crispy and flavorful delight. The classic Royal Thai Tom Yum Kung Soup, paired with tender and succulent shrimp, leaves a lingering and aromatic taste. The Lemongrass and Lemon Leaf Grilled Fish is juicy and delectable, tantalizing your palate with its rich flavors. Finally, the silky Coconut Ice Cream concludes this Thai culinary experience beautifully, leaving a perfect punctuation mark on this sumptuous Thai feast.

Stepping into JAJA located in the Wan Chai Hong Kong Arts Centre is like entering a fantastical world where imagination meets romance. The restaurant specializes in healthy vegetarian cuisine, offering creatively crafted dishes and meticulously designed plating. Coupled with a dining environment exuding a celebratory atmosphere, JAJA is the perfect choice for gathering with family and friends to celebrate, host intimate parties, or simply share good vibes.

During the Gourmet Month, JAJA Vegetarian Restaurant will be introducing the “Garden of Flavor” set menu, themed around gardens. From the Garden of Tomato and Organic Pumpkin & Ginger Soup to the Vegetable au Gratin, complemented by Lemongrass syrup, raspberry sorbet and Tropical Fruit Salad, these meatless dishes promise a fun-filled dining experience.
