Michelin Starred Chef’s Private Kitchen Menus

Tsui Hang Village (Causeway Bay) is honored to have Chef LEUNG Yip-yuen (Chef Yuen), former Executive Chef of Golden Valley, joining the restaurant as the resident Head Chef. With over 35 years culinary experience, Chef Yuen successfully introduced Sichuanese recipes into Cantonese Restaurants Man Jiang Hong (aka San Xi Lou) , which has blown up the market and became a new dining trend in Hong Kong. Chef Yuen is experienced in both authentic Sichuanese and classy Cantonese cuisine. He was the kitchen-in-charge at a tycoon Cantonese restaurant – Fu Ho Ah Yung Abalone Restaurant for 7 years as well. In 2014, Chef Yuen joined Golden Valley, a Chinese Restaurant at The Emperor Hotel, leading the restaurant to be awarded 1-star Michelin Guide for 7 years consecutively.

From mid-May onwards, diners can savor Chef Yuen’s signature recipes in the newly launched Private Kitchen Menus: Cantonese and Sichuanese Classic Menu ($888*/person) and Seafood Delicacies Premium Menu ($1,388*/person).

Cantonese and Sichuanese Classic Menu includes representative dishes of the two cuisine like Braised Fish Head Thick Soup, Poached Prawn in Chili Broth, and Chef Yuen’s creations South African Abalone with Deep-fried Garlic and Fried Pork Ribs in Homemade Plum Sauce.

While for Seafood Delicacies Premium Menu is further enhanced with premium ingredients, highlights including Sautéed Lobster with Greens and Lily Bulbs, Poached Leopard Coral Garoupa Filets in Pickled Chili Broth, Simmered Vegetables in Geoduck Clams Broth and Crispy Diced Chicken with Dried Chili and Sichuan Pepper.

All dishes in the Private Kitchen Menus are handled by Chef Yuen with meticulous preparation. Each table can cater 6 to 12 persons, advance reservation is required. Upon reservation, diners can enjoy BYOB corkage free. Please inquire the restaurant for more details.
